Below are the details of each appointment type, what to expect, and contraindications that may prevent us from enrolling a person.
In-Office:
All we'll need is your photo ID (state or federal). Once the paperwork is complete, an associate will take you to a patient room where we'll take your height, weight, and blood pressure (no blood work required). We'll then discuss the medication(s) Dr. Collado will prescribe, the legality & side-effects of the medication, a nutrition plan, & even a recommended cardio regimen. Lastly, you'll meet with one of our providers, whom will also send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy.
Virtual Visit:
We offer video appointments where we conduct your visit via FaceTime (iPhones), WhatsApp, or GoogleMeet (GoogleDuo).
Before your virtual appt, we'll send a text message moments before so you will recognize the number that will be calling. We'll ask to see your ID to verify your identity, and will conduct the appointment from there. Payments are done via Square Payment Systems where you'll read a card number so it can be processed manually. We will only save your card information at your request, never without your permission.
It is $55 to start the program and a 30-day prescription of Phentermine is about $15, but will depend on the pharmacy you choose (we can also help recommend pharmacies if unsure). Some patients may receive an additional prescription from Dr. Collado called Phendimetrazine, but is not required.
Important Telemedicine Considerations:
A state or federal ID must be presented at each appointment.
Your weight loss associate will ask for your ID, weight, & recent blood pressure & pulse.
We're currently unable to utilize pharmacies at Walmart, SamsClub, or CVS (which includes Target).
Our physicians follow state law by sending prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy.
We are able to accept debit or credit payments over the phone using Square Payment Systems.
Patients Not Eligible for Program:
-Body Mass Index (BMI) below 27.0
-Those not in Oklahoma or Wichita Falls, TX area
-Those 65-years-old or older
-Prior heart conditions / concerns, or uncontrolled high blood pressure
-Those with any history of stroke, seizure, or any central nervous system conditions
-Currently prescribed any stimulants, such as those that treat ADHD, weight loss, or narcolepsy
-Prescribed Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine), Adderall, Nuvigil (Armodafinil), Provigil (Modifinil)
-Taking Wellbutrin (Bupropion) or Contrave
-Taking Trintellix (Vortioxetine) or Brintellix
-Pregnant or breastfeeding / 8-weeks postpartum or earlier
-Those with decreased kidney or liver function
-Any history of drug abuse, dependency, or registered meth offense
